Winter is on. And it strikes me again that snowboarding is an all-or-nothing proposition. Compromise can gnaw away at the plan; it seeps through the cracks in our lives until, pretty soon. It’s running the show. Driver’s wanted, right? But sometimes we all end up going for a ride.

Traditional restrictions apply; job, rent, him, her … the car, the dog. There are plenty of obstacles to get in the way. But, man, an occasional trip to the snow-an on-again, off-again brush with happiness-just doesn’t cut it.

What am I getting at? Life is short. Winter is shorter. Design your days around snowboarding with the people who are important to you, and the rest will fall into place. There will be time enough for compromise when spring comes around.

Try it, get into it and you’ll know what I’m talking about.

I’ve been reading a couple of articles on the blogsphere about life and such, and it’s been inspiring me to keep updating this blog, so here goes a post. Majority of these blogs I’ve been reading are about New York City, relationships, radical arts, and music of course. The NYC blogs perfectly gets my attention, it helps me picture myself living in the city with an okay job, brand new friends, surviving and making it at the very least. I think the time has come and I finally, truly realized that I’m over California and it’s time to move on and flip the page of my story book.

California, particularly Los Angeles and Long Beach has been a great part of my life. The friends and memories will always be in my heart until the end. The world is too big and it will be a waste for it not to be explored. And so as the saying goes, “Life is too short, live as if it was your last.” The more people finds out about my plan on relocating, the more of them wants to embark the journey with me. This gives greater influenced on me and I am becoming more inspired than ever. The city is calling my, your name, so go and pack your bags for the long haul.

The Middle East, an Australian based indie band whose brand of acoustic folk is downright devastating, recently released their debut EP stateside after a short break up. The 5 track, self-titled EP (which is a shortened version of their Australian released full length album), is now streaming for free via this link.

Lost will conclude in its sixth season with its 121st and final episode airing in May 2010. Season six will consist of eighteen episodes. Episodes from the first four seasons of the series have begun airing in off-network syndication in the US.

The year is almost over. I’m just hoping 2010 will bring me good tidings.  It has been a very rough year for me, I can say the worst year ever.  But despite of all the bumps and bruises 200suck9 has given me, I remain focus and thankful.  2010 will be a better year for me and for this blog.  Buhjezuz…I need to update this thing.

2009! I’m alive, I made it.

Yesssir Yesssmam, I am alive and kicking.  I pretty much been through the brush of the usual ups and downs of life, I’ve been down and incapacitated. Today, I am up, well and happy.  I guess the hype of a blog was just there in the beginning for me, then, I just finally got over it.  Although, I’m really not planning on getting rid of this blog.  It would be nice to go back few months or years to see what I was up to back then or what I was thinking at that moment in time.  I know there are more important things to do in life than just to post blogs, specially when I am at work.  Today, is just one of those days that I have to write and spill some thoughts here.

This is by far the best Summer ever.  I just recently moved in to a new place and I am starting to like it.  Living alone could be such a downer sometimes,  knowing the fact that life is hard as it is.  The most important thing right now is that I am healthy and I am able to do what I want in life, maybe not completely everything but enough to be happy.  School started yesterday and to be completely honest I’m not ready for it. It would be nice to have another week, but it’s on and I have to be on top of things again. Summer was a  lot of fun, a lot of parties and gatherings.  The highlight of my summer was not enjoying the beach and staying in.
